I joined GHS to keep up with what Judy was so interested in. I'm still on that board. But, there's not enough
trail riding stuff. So, I came over to GTR. I also follow Four Corners Trail Forum and Horse Trailer World. But, not a frequent poster to any. Good Grief,!
There are so many forums that I watch periodically, that I'd never get off the 'puter if I checked them all regularly.

I first looked on HorseBuddies ( I think that's what it was)....and saw Terry (OklahomaHorse) make mention of a "gaited horse board" she was a
member of. I actually believe the discussion was about black oil sunflower seeds...and how a lot of the folks on her gaited horse board swore by them!lol I had
been looking for help with my walking horse...so you better believe I asked for the link real quick! That's when I came to GHS. Now, I've had the good
fortune of being here...with some of the folks that I have looked up to for the past several years (3, I believe!) I have definitely learned a TON from
ya'll..and am thankful to have had the opportunity!

I think that the great thing about this board, and some of the others, is that we all can constantly learn from each
other. The most raw newbie can offer a thought that the oldest veteran will look at and think, "Why didn't I ever think of that." GTR is great
because we all have the same attitude - willing to learn something new and willing to share what we know. No egos to interfere with the flow of ideas.

My first board was the original Gaited Horse sense. I lurked for awhile and everyone seemed so nice so I thought what the heck and joined. I've been to GOG
but it doesn't seem as friendly so I don't go there often. I also belong to a coulpe of poultry boards. I rarely post on them but because they went to
Yuku earlier I had an easier time with the switch. I got to keep my original name.
