The show schedule is out and we have a direct conflict. The first big show of the season is May 3 and we have too much at stake to miss it. Hope all of you

Hey Claudia....I've been around, just lurkin'.
I got your email earlier about the drive to Mammoth Cave. For those of you that were wondering, taking Western Kentucky Parkway to Leitchfield is the better route by far. Once you get off the WK at Leitchfield, the roads you'll travel to get to camp are easy driving. You will cross the dam at Nolin Lake, but it's no big deal. Once you've crossed the dam, you'll be within about 15 minutes or so of camp. The only hill that I can recall is just past the dam but it isn't steep by any means. I've come into camp from both directions and this way is definately easier on your rig. Wooohooo.....just 6 weeks away! |

Sigh....it looks like I'm out with Boo's injury.....
I did get an invitation to a 'girl's campout' the same weekend (may 1-4)...it is only an hour away, so I think I can do that one night.... Boo is doing well so far, but it has only been a week with stall 'rest'. Poor guy. He is walking sound, but I'm sure he would reinjure it if he was turned out....I guess that's why people rush this type of injury. They loook so good. Maybe in the fall, guys.... Scooter |
