Ed seems to be quite taken with Eliza. Everytime she's near, he HAS to come investigate her. He is always gentle...and has never nipped at her or anything. (I have to watch Cooper....it still doesn't seem to be as "engraved" in his mind yet...that you just absolutely cannot nip at a hand.) Eliza is just as smitten with Ed, as he is with her. I wish so bad I had've had someone with me yesterday to help watch her, while I took pics. I couldn't back up and get a good shot of them...b/c I didn't want to get that far....just in case Ed was to step further up or something. He's sweet around her...but he's still a horse that could step on her.
Pardon Ed's sweaty head....it was about 96 yesterday!

We had to go in after this one....I was scared to death Eliza had gotten burnt. (which is unlike her...she tans really easy like her daddy.) She was just hot though.

That Ed really is something....I'm so proud to have him. I'm looking forward to Eliza learning to ride on that big boy.
(Thanks, Chris!!!!!!!!) Oh....I was about to forget one of
the cutest parts. Eliza is talking so much it's ridiculous now. Of course, most of it comes out sounding like Cherokee or something....but, one word she
does have down pat is "ED"!! Granted it usually comes out as "Eh"....but she knows who she's talking about. You can say, "Call
Ed"...and she'll start, "Eh, Eh!" First thing she does when we go out the door, is call Ed. She stands at her window, and calls Ed. (I
did say that they were taken with each other, didn't I?lol) The other day, I had to go in the lot....and left Eliza outside the gate. I heard her saying
"Eh, Eh"....turned around to look, and Ed has his head over the fence,...Eliza holding him in a headlock. I'm just tickled pink at all the sweet
horse memories-in-the-making she's having. She'll grow up in love with that Ed!![]()
Again, sorry if there are lots of spaces between the pics. I wish I knew how to fix this!
Jess
