Donna fed us too good as usual and we decided to try out a few horses.
For some reason-- Mike always wants to ride this horse--
Next was Princess I believe. She has really filled out nicely from last time I saw her. I had never rode her either and she will be going to her new home in PA later this summer/fall.
Next was Patches-- for some reason her head and eyes remind me alot of Claudette. She gaits better than Claudette and I'm sure she's alot faster
too!
For those of you that don't know-- I've always LOVED Kentucky Gal. She is just stunning in person. So-- I finally got to ride her ----
What I want/like in a horse is to just cluck to them and they go-- no nagging (Claudette is like that) -well KY Gal is too
Too bad I can't have a 4th horse -----
BUT-- Jim's newest "baby" on the place is a Red Chocolate-- is male and not only is Strokin the dam-- but the sire is Rainmaker-- maybe I will be
more ready for another horse by the time he is ready to go-------------
We had a great visit-- Thanks Jim & Donna for your southern hospitality-- See you again soon--
