It is further for us than everyone else. I suspect we will be in the river more than on the horses if it is going to be as hot as they say! Should be fun
anyway.

Yes, I looked it over but too far for me to drive. Have a great time. My friend Milt is at the camp in Colorado today. He is staying for at least a week. I
wanna go....maybe next year! I am leaving on the 14th to go visit my friend who lives in Washington (in the 70s there) and go camping/riding with her in her
neck of the woods for a change.

Hopefully Terri, we will cool down by then, but if not, enjoy that weather and take lots of pictures.... I hope to be at Ricks with Bridgette, sometime in that
area of the month, but if it keeps on being hot, might not be til Sept..

We just got back. It was a great weekend. Very nice campground, the owner really makes sure that you are happy with things. The trails are very nice. I
didn't take any pics but Judy and Bob did. John, if you will pm me your address I will send you a trail map and brochure on this place. It is located about
20 miles east of Licking,mo.

OMG, what another fun weekend! Ride and laugh. Laugh and ride...it never stopped! What a great group of people to camp with.
The campground was VERY nice. Shady spots to park in, picnic tables, firerings, water and elec. at each site. Nice stalls with water right by them. Greg, the owner is just starting up the place and has done a great job. He guided us to some pretty neat places. One night night he and Bob and Rachelle went to a big cave. (The rest of us just sat back and ate desserts)! Perfect weather...low to mid 80's and low humidity! How did that happen?? The trails were wonderful. Deep shade, lots of pine tree forests mixed with big old oaks. We rode to the Big Piney River which was so clear. Coming from northern IL the rivers in MO constantly amaze me with how clear they are. No matter how deep, you can see to the bottom. The difference between a rock bottom and mud or sand I guess. There were some nice hills to ride and a beautiful trail along the top of a bluff. We had lunch one day along the banks of Paddy Creek. We all decided this is definitely a "go-back-to " place. Ron got some really nice pictures he will post. Here are a few I took. Sitting on the rocks at lunch. Doc, Ron, Debbie and Bonnie. Behind Debbie is the bluff..

Not had time to do the pictures. Greg has done a great job making this a nice place to camp, and he has some very nice trails to ride. Elaine and Steve will
fit in this group just fine. Looking forward to riding with them at Shawnee.

yep, we got some fabulous riding, all across this state, but I really like the Ozarks the best, and the Buffalo river area in northern Arkansas is fabulous
too..
