I've been looking at the cloth bags-- guess it's time I actually bought one!

When I went to see my family in Germany 2 years ago, I got out of the Plastic mode. They use baskets and cloth bags. You can't even buy plastic bags. In
the Aldis store there you can buy your cloth bag for $1...(I bought one and filled it up with candy....) I use them all the time. I pretend I'm cool when
I walk into the grocery with my little basket of bags. Hannaford, a food chain store here give you 5cents off for each bag you bring in. I'll take it.
I think we should ban plastic water bottles too...they are all over!

I burn all of our unused plastic bags. I hate to see these things all over everywhere. I am continually picking them up, out in, our pastures.

Recycling plastic bags is fairly easy. Both Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee (local food chain) have bins at the doorway for placing plastic bags. I'll bundle them
together and give them back the next trip.
