Claudia, we are ok. Actually we slipped away to the Shawnee on Thursday and rode with Bob and Sharon and Ron and Judy. They had high winds there this morning
and a tree fell on top of someone's car. It missed their fifth wheel camper by about two feet and the owner was sleeping in the gooseneck so it could have
been really bad.

We had two days of warnings that bad storms were coming, but they ended up passing north of us. Evidently the national news picked it up because we had
relatives calling to check on us. Strange. It was all nothing here, but back when the tornado just missed us, no one knew it was so close...not even us.

We are Ok... Our neighbors and many friends not !!! Many houses, barns, livestock gone.. 5 of Richards family friends are dead.... It is devastation like you
would not believe... Just 2 miles south of us !!! Have been trying to corral animals all day...there are no fences to put them in.. people bringing panels
etc... our vet has been corraling bodies and treating people the best he could... It is absolutely horrible.. and I thank God every minute for our house and
lives.... Haven't heard from Doc or anybody, but I think it went pretty south of there... They probably got a pretty good storm out of it though...
This is something I don't want to live thru again !!! It is just like it looks like on TV only worse !!! Thanks for caring everyone and please pray for the devastated... It is hard to know how to help friends when something like this happens to so many of them... Cindi |

Cindi, hate to hear the bad news. Did you have to take shelter? My heart goes out to you and your family and friends. It sounds like you are doing as much as
you can to help those who need it.

Sounds like a nightmare, Cindi. My heart breaks for the friend you have, who lost so many of his family members. Just terrible.

So sorry. I know how overwhelming it can feel! How heartbreaking for Richard and his family. I know around here they are still cleaning up from the mess in February, and that was really a comparitively small number of people and homes affected. You will have a lot to do helping your neighbors for awhile. So thankful that you are OK and will be there for them. Kevie |

so far all of my friends that live in that part of the world are ok.......prayers sent for those that have been affected by these horrific storms
